We are a design and web development company located in downtown Chambersburg, PA who partners with both local and national clients to build and produce top quality design. Our clients include Food for the Hungry, Prison Fellowship, Boots & Hearts, and many other high profile organizations.

We are looking to hire a professional WordPress developer who can deliver pixel perfect reproductions of our hand-crafted designs. This position may also require you to develop custom plugins and functionality using best practices and standards for Wordpress. Every project should be taken through a rigorous quality assurance process where we test and ensure the code is flawless and the functionality is perfect. We are looking for excellence!

This full-time position is located in our main office in downtown Chambersburg, PA.

What You Will Do

  • Interact with project manager to receive, review, and coordinate on new projects
  • Interact with designers on corrections and enhancements
  • Collaborate with the project manager to determine scope and timeframes for delivering coded websites
  • Deliver pixel perfect WordPress themes and/or plugins in the timeframes coordinated with the project manager
  • Troubleshoot support requests and deliver solutions autonomously
  • Continuously improve and learn new web development skills and knowledge

What We Need You to Know

  • 3-5 years of experience in a LAMP environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery and PHP.
  • Experience developing custom themes for WordPress sites.
  • Experience converting designs (PSD/Invision/Zeplin) to a custom build theme.
  • Functional knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Responsive coding experience and knowledge.
  • Attention to detail to create pixel-perfect front-end.
  • Intermediate experience with MySQL or similar RDBMS.
  • Demonstrative experience with cross-browser and cross-operating system testing.

What Makes You Standout

  • Working knowledge of SCSS, LESS or another CSS abstraction.
  • Working knowledge of GIT for Source Control Management (SCM).
  • Working knowledge of Typescript or another JavaScript abstraction.
  • Working knowledge of AngularJS, VueJS or another JavaScript framework.
  • Timeliness and professionalism.
  • Willingness to be challenged and expand your knowledgebase.
